Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Assistant to join our team. As a Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of various programs and activities. This position requires working with youth (ages 6-15), strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and adults.

Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementing educational and recreational programs for kids
- Homework assist, esport/gaming programs, STEM activities, and sports/fitness
- Supervise youth during program activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop engaging lesson plans and activities
- Support students with special education needs, providing individualized assistance
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary

Skills:

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience and passion working with youth in an educational or rec center setting
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to educate and engage students in various subjects and activities
- Proficient in behavior management techniques

- Experience in esports/gaming highly desired
